"I'm out!" - Well, I saw the episode. Yup, that's right, I saw "The Puerto Rican Day" episode.

[For those of you who don't know, this was the second to last episode of "Seinfeld" and I unfortunately missed it. The worse part was that there was a controversial scene where Kramer stomps on a burning Puerto Rican flag, so they decided not to air that episode in reruns!]

An online friend from the Seinfeld msgboard, was kind enuf to send me a copy of it. He lives in Canada, so it took a while. But, eventually, it did arrive. I was so excited. I really thought that I would never see this episode. Unfortunately, it wasn't that clear, but I didn't let that bother me. I was still pumped to see a "new" episode. My dad explained to me that it was probably fuzzy bc they use a diff frequency in Canada.

Anyway, I gathered up some friends, and we watched it. It was so awesome, as I had expected. I mean it was just so neat to see a "new" episode. It was a great episode, and I didn't see the big deal w/ the controversial scene. The scene lasted a few seconds, and it wasn't like Kramer burned the flag intentionally. I concede that it was disrespectful, but c'mon! It was funny! Well, I'll probably write some more on this subject later. [04.01.99]

Music

Secret of Mana Midi - This is just a nice sounding midi. I mean it sounds like an mp3! It's from the Super Nintendo RPG, The Secret of Mana. Most midi's don't sound good because they sound synthesized, but this is one of the better midi's that I have, so I just had to post it for your listening pleasure.

O Fortuna - This is an mp3 of the first movement of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. It's called "O Fortuna," and it kicks a lot of butt. Clips of this piece are used in various movies and movie trailers, so u'll probably recognize it. It's used in The General's Daughter and the trailer for the Southpark movie. This mp3 was ripped by me from my friend's CD. The download is made possible by The Alien Dummy of the former mp3 site V 3.0 Muzik. The mp3 is 2.27 MB.

Duel of the Fates lyrics - Here is the complete transcript of the lyrics of "Duel of the Fates" from the Episode I soundtrack. It's neat to read along while listening to the song. These are the Sanskrit words that are sung by the chorus, as printed on the sheet music:

Korah Matah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Rahtamah Yoodhah Korah
Korah Syahdho Rahtahmah Daanyah
Korah Keelah Daanyah
Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah
Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah
Korah Matah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah Daanyah Korah Rahtahmah
Nyohah Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Syadho Keelah Korah Rahtahmah
Korah

Williams used just one line -- literally transcribed into Sanskrit -- from Robert Graves' translation of the Celtic Poem "Cad Goddeu" ("Battle of the Trees"):

"Under the tongue root a fight most dread, and another raging, behind, in the head."

It is a very significant line since it alludes to how the duel is fought on more than one level two of them being the Jedi vs. the Sith and the Trade Federation vs. Naboo.

This is my "dream" car, the BMW Z3 Roadster. I put dream in quotes bc it's not really a dream; I will have this car. Oh yes, I will have it.

Sweet huh?

More to come soon . . .
